Bridging the Gap foundation is an organization created to educate empower and assist women with their rights, choices and options before during and after breast cancer. There is not nearly enough information available through the process educating these women on their esthetic choices. Most are unaware that they even have choices in their esthetic recovery. Most are unaware of the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act passed in 1998 guaranteeing every women’s right to complete breast reconstruction post mastectomy. Most are unaware that, even when they choose complete reconstruction and insurance companies deny their claim to these rights, they can appeal these unjust denials and be reimbursed for the services that their insurance companies claim to provide.

The Power of Play
Oh, my gawd! We arrived in Hollywood and were completely and benevolently embraced by our generous peeps who are...The Power of Play (www.ThePowerOfPlay.com)! Our playdate has begun! And crazy, wacky Joy is helping bridge the gap between breast cancer and beauty, as we channel Dr. O. Carl Simonton. He’s the radiation oncologist who pioneered mind-body medicine and cancer. Stay tuned to learn much more about this amazing and courageous doctor. But for now, watch our wacky video and see how everyone is participating with the Big Bra Tour 2009. WE want to bring it too many by showing up at the Ellen Degeneres Show in the parking lot with our Big Bra and showing the beauty in women is not lost and we can make smiles again. Who else brings smiles to the world ... Ellen Degeneres.

We believe in Bridging the gap between breast cancer and beauty for women living thru and beyond breast cancer. Our BTGF team (Bridging the Gap Foundation) had a dream of a "Big Bra" to accept a-dd donations to help women that have survived breast cancer with their COMPLETE aesthetic recovery.
When we put the shout out for the "big bra" it took only five days for a generous man named Bill Luttinger from United Scenic to say that he would donate his finest sculpture "pepe" to make us the "Big Bra".
He did this because he believes in our cause and he has a close family member that had a double mastectomy.
